Pick a side. I know you're fighting.
Turnover Groups
Anarchical, ruthless, and reckless group, the people of the Walpurgis Knights demand change. The way they go about this change, however, if far from peaceful. Violent protests, threats, and even capital offences mark these Knights as dangerous to Wizarding society. Anyone who has any qualms with the Ministry will try and join ranks with these hot-blooded ruffians. Not only known for their outwardly brutal behaviour, it is also rumoured that they have an underground studies and research program going on, namely on very special artifacts and rare items. Potion making, search expenditures, and even the creation of powerful spells and concoctions are of no rarity. Their downfall, however, is that they have no leader that has kept the group firm and diligent in their ultimate goal – a new Wizarding Government. So for now they are a bunch of rabble without a cause. Purebloods, werewolves, vampires, and anyone else who have felt oppressed by the Ministry will most likely contribute to the Walpurgis Knight’s cause. Headquarters: Dunluce Castle **To join this group you must first fill out the appropriate application located within the sub-plots board
This group takes up a good consensus of the half-blood and muggleborns. While they feel a need for change in the mode of safety and new regulations, they devoutly believe in peace in the Wizarding World. Aurors especially fight for the cause of keeping (and perhaps tweaking) the current government structure of Wizard London, as uprising and catastrophe is the last thing they want. Though saying that, many have become zealous in the matter of keeping the peace as they currently preside Hogwarts and have been notorious for throwing people in Azkaban on whimsy.
It’s the same traditionalist, conservative clique as it has been for centuries. Pureblood families are even tighter now, if only to support each other in the things to come. Betrothals, forced marriages, and parties are all at no rarity. Now that new lines of pureblood families have been found in countries such as France, Greece, America, Russia, and the Asian East, the British families will do what they can to have these people join their ranks, even if it means selling off a child for access to the pure line. Who knows what they are up to – most of the time they are either partying or resting up for the next party, but it wouldn’t be impossible for small meetings among self-proclaimed leaders of the pureblood clans to get together and talk about options. While there is no specific meeting house, one can be sure that the Malfoy Manor and other esteemed estates in Britain house the peeved purebloods.
The Wizarding World is in a crisis. Voldemort may be gone, but good leadership and a true calm has yet to emerge. Britain holds the most condensed population of witches and wizards, but an exponential rise to magical families have emerged almost everywhere around the world from America to Cambodia. These people need guidance and protection, and Britain seems to be the main source of information and privacy against the muggle world. So many people from these countries have either immigrated or come as ambassadors to help unite the Wizarding world as a whole and set up just laws. If the lines happen to be pure or renowned, expect British purebloods to hound – otherwise the foreign people will have to decide for themselves what exactly they want. If anything, unification is in order.
These are the people who have yet to claim their allegiance. There is no actual grouping here, they are merely civilians spread across Britain who don’t exactly know whose side to pick, or if anything is really worth their time fighting for. Depending on their skills, they may be prowled by either the Walpurgis Knights or the Ministry, as all groups want people on their side and may pay handsomely for it – it’s all about playing your cards.
