Victoria Toby Weasley;;
Too much has happened in too short an amount of time. Where we left her, Tori had been through a windmill of calamaties that could only befall a most unfortunate 16-year old. After being raped, emotionally broken and betrayed by the Ministry, it's taken a while for to grow once more again into a confident woman. Deciding it would be better if her family were ignorant of the situation, she was adamant on handling her issues alone. This came at a price however. Colder and steelier than ever before, she does not exude the stereotypical Weasley warmth but instead embodies a stone wall which is resolved not to break down under the most extreme of pressures.
The ambition to claw her way up in every way possible from the depths of pity and ruin was spurred by her onset of misfortunes, perhaps creating one of the brightest stars the ministry has seen yet. Whereas once upon a time, an apprentice such as Tori Weasley would have been viewed as an Asset to the Department of Magical Law and Enforcement, she is now revered as a threat even by her more senior colleagues. Whether this is due to her ruthless determination in fighting for Justice or her own selfish need for control, it certainly got her through Wizarding Law School - and three years after Hogwart's, she was graduating again with a 1st class and a ready made offer with the same organization that turned in Remus Lupin for no apparent reason.
This summer, she has been preparing for the biggest trial yet. Stubborn as ever, she went against her superior's advice and wanted to assist with the re-trials. Having not realised the strong opposition from her boss, she has now been left to her own devices to prepare her case single-handedly to fight for the freedom of the most infamous prisoner in Azkaban since Sirius Black. With little less than a month to go till the start of the trials, Tori's facade remains as composed as ever although the nerves may perhaps be the cause of the wine crates that now litter her small low-maintenance apartment in Little Venice.
Aiden Alexander Malfoy;;
Six years and Aiden Malfoy, notoriously recognized in his school days as obsessive, passionate, ambitious, if not slightly eccentric, has nothing to show for the time lapse between school boy and functioning adult. Being placed in Azkaban since the ever-flaky age of seventeen, one could hardly blame him for his lack of professional or social esteem in the new community of British Warlocks. The ticking of a clock was replaced with the pings of dropping water and raps of footsteps. Full days were countable only by the hollers for laundry and the short drops of blemished eating utensils into his cell that Aiden had come to record as a mundane, daily pattern.
Not to say he is doing badly for himself, considering his situation. Always the chameleon and constantly adapting, allies have been made and compromised, luxuries given sparingly, and deep networking quite evident. He could give you the genders, names, and crimes of everyone that has ever said a whisper on his floor, knows the guards work shifts and mental malleability. He can gauge fear and insight fury or kindness, depending on which emotion he could better feed on (not a new gift, mind you, merely an imperative survival quality). Considering the humdrum, filthy, maniacal counterparts locked up like him, he’s excelling in his gloomy, salty, damp environment with the steady decline of his logic and sanity.
While getting by in his dark, mysterious way, that doesn’t overpower the daily eccentrics that many observe as pure madness – they only feed to his reputation. He has been recorded to scratching his nails down the metal door like a household cat would a curtain, thrashing his head under the freezing water of his sink frequently, and bribing guards for utensils as mundane as a toothbrush, soap, and a good shave. Guards have observed him running in circles around his cell, leaping onto his bed, toilet, and sink. Apparently he also spends at least four hours a day doing exercises such as crunches, push-ups, and mountain climbers. And while reputed to be quite eloquent in speech, expert in diction and strangely smooth and calm in demeanor, outbursts, hoarse threats, and tantrums in the night and on days following a dementor’s kiss are not uncommon, making him even still the wild card he was known to be in his school days.
While there was nothing short of strange occurrences, comical questionnaires, and downright, pure fear – it is nothing like the trials of living in the real world. Currently, Aiden’s mind has lost the difference between the two distinct realms of prison and reality. Through some generic notifications from the Ministry speaking of retrials, meetings, and evaluations, however, Aiden will need to break the negative, miserable mental cycle that Dementors have instilled in him and be able to make admirable defense for his upcoming retrial. As for everything else that had been neglected or forgotten under his charge these past six years, only more time can tell what’s to happen to his abandoned world when and if he ever finds his way back.
Gwendolyn Serena Johen;;
It's been six long years since that fateful day. The moment Gwendolyn learned Aiden had been imprisoned, she left the safety of Hogwarts in order to visit her friend. They never discussed why he had been arrested. Gwen chose instead to chatter on about trivial matters with him; the latest gossip, what was going on in class, things like that. After graduating from her seventh year, the weekend visits turned into an every other day affair.
Slowly--ever so slowly--the feelings she had harbored for her friend ever since sixth year began to grow and blossom. Aiden had melted the Ice Princess' heart without either of them realizing it. Gwendolyn never spoke a word about it to anyone, not even her twin brother (whom she told everything), knowing that it would only make things worse, especially if Aiden did not return her feelings.
As the years wore on, she continued to see the eldest Malfoy whenever she could, as Gwen was certain that none of his family bothered to visit him. She became more withdrawn with each passing day, and was soon refusing to attend any party that was not held at either the Johen or Malfoy homes. Not even the promise of being allowed to once again join her father as he unveiled his latest line of clothing could lift her spirits.
Her twenty-third birthday is drawing near, and her mother has already begun preparations, much to Gwendolyn's annoyance. She has no taste for such frivolities, not when her best friend (whom she loves) is still locked up in Azkaban, and their world is falling apart at the seams. Watching Aiden's slow deterioration was like stabbing a knife through her own heart, but with nothing more to do than play Queen to the young women that make up her clique, she continues to visit him. It keeps her grounded; reminds her of the reality of the whole situation.
And it breaks her heart.
Persephone Delilah Rolles;;
Seph has been married to Ethan Rolles for the last six years. In that time frame, besides raising three lovely children(two that aren't his, though he doesn't know that), she has gotten herself a job to keep her sane. Though her children, the oldest being six and the twins being four, are still young, Persephone has placed herself within the Ministry of Magic, and works in the Department of Magical Cooperation as her Father, Percy, had when he had just gotten out of Hogwarts. Her parents are still very disappointed with the way that their only daughter's life turned out, but they are now on friendly terms with her once again. They now accept Ethan as their Son-in-Law, and everyone save for Dimitri knows of Seph's infidelity to Ethan.
On the subject of the Infidelity, it took place during a very vulnerable time for Persephone. It was nearly two years after the birth of her daughter, Isabelle, and during a time where she rarely even managed to catch a glimpse of Ethan, as he was working so hard to support her and their toddler. On a particularly rough night for her, a time when Isabelle was ill, Dimitri was there for her. One thing led to another, and Seph ended up pregnant with twins...Dimitri's twins. When they were borne, they bore an exact likeness to Dimitri, but as he and Ethan bare a resemblance to one another, Ethan was unaware that the children were not his. It was during this period, when Ethan had accepted these children though Seph knew he shouldn't have, that she finally allowed herself to fall in love with him. Yes, she is still madly in love with Dimitri, but Ethan holds a much higher value to her now. The only way that they would break is if Ethan discovered her affair, the rightful Father of the twins...and left her.
Nicolette Jane Lupin;;
After her final year at Hogwarts, Nicki needed a break. She had gone through one too many broken hearts in her seven years there. Her brother in jail, her sister not speaking to her, her best friends drifting away... all of it brought tears to her eyes. She almost decided to wrench herself from the magical world- but she didn't. She took night classes at the city's best music university after taking a year off to travel. She went to Paris, Milan, Rome and Madrid, staying there for two months a peice. The other four months she spent working on her appliactions- and her love life. Nate, who she promised to love forever, had been pushing her away invoulentarily with every step he took toward Veronica. She detatched herself from him. She's had a... decent love life with a one night stand and a one week boyfriend.
And...then her father was sent to jail. Nicki didn't know what to do. She sighed her way through night classes and decided to become a reporter-hopefully. She's been working on her first article for her interveiw... but she can't keep herself straight...
Will it all be too much for her?
Selena Isabella Ann-Maria Malfoy;;
Six years to some is an awfully fast time, but it was a slow paced process, that couldn’t have come any slower for Selena Malfoy. The start of her sixth year had been great, she was starting to open up more allow people into her life. She saw a light in more people then one. She made friends, yes friends, a word that you wouldn’t normally hear out of a Malfoy’s mouth. Whatever the reason, or how she accomplished that part of life was beyond her, but she liked it and she was happy. Then the dramatics happened, Ayden was sent to Azkaban. Now normally if Ayden got himself in trouble, she wouldn’t have cared less, but this was much more then trouble, this was jail. Her twin brother was locked up in bloody jail for crying out loud.
Charged for a crime, Selena wasn’t sure he even made, Selena had not once found herself visiting her brother, her twin. She just couldn’t bare it, to see all the happenings of six long years. She received the letters he sent, and in fact had picked up the pen many times to write back to all of them, however none of the originals were actually sent out. She had replied to all of them, in well thought out detail, and yet she sent none of them back to him, none of them filled with truth. Instead scrawled on parchment were little lines of how everything was fine, and she couldn’t wait to see him. Though with all that, she never once visited, she couldn’t do it, couldn’t face it. So she tried to live her life as if it was completely normal.
Though it wasn’t, in fact, it was far from it. Though she took to everything with a plan, a goal of sorts, as the time went on. It was much different then when she was in Hogwarts, because there, she took everything as it came. Selena Malfoy had usually just gone with the flow; she didn’t allow others to get the better of her. But with her family on the ranks as Death Eaters, she was, and still is now, learning to plan her moves. Lena is now, more prepared then ever to take on the likelihood of anyone who would get in her way. After leaving school, the blond found herself locked alone with her parents, and the other pureblood families, the ones who also seemed to like to hide from the ministry, planning to fight back. So what else could Selena do but fight back alongside those in which she ‘loved.’
So the last six years, to Selena, had passed slowly. Almost like a deadly plague, one in which she was trying to fight off. But things were getting wrapped up and Selena has nowhere else to run too, so she does the errands for her family. She does her best to make money around the town, despite the entire money the Malfoy’s take in. Lena seems to find herself rushing around, trying to get orders down for the family, along with a few select others, her parents have high respect for. Talking amongst other purebloods, and keeping her family name out there as if trying to shine the light on a better half of the family, to pull away from Aiden and his imprisonment. Which was and still is a hard concept to get people over when thrown into a conversation that only angers Selena more as the times go on. She helps with many of the events, and well, what else was there for her to do? No one ever said life was easy. Samantha Eveina Weasley;;
Six years ago, Sam had been a bubbly, effervescent fifteen year old struggling with potions. She passed her OWLs, but showed no interest in a job in the Wizarding World as far as employment. The summer between her fifth and sixth years at Hogwarts, she, thanks to help from her father, acquired a job at a local radio station mostly doing grunt work. She adored it. From that time on, she worked steadily at the station. So it came as no surprise that when once she graduated, she went full time at the small radio station. Unfortunately, during her first year out of school, her and Jake Corner, boyfriend since fifth year, broke up due to political differences. But it didn't slow the budding young woman down in the least. Eager to make herself known, she climbed the ladder at work rather fast.
In two years, she had gained her own late-night show on a Muggle radio station near London. It broadcasted to the whole region. Her voice and charisma drew listeners in from all ages. Her show at that time dealt comedic performances between her and her partner, Jeffery Cobane. Perfect for those who were trying to stay awake at 2 am. During this time, she actually moved into London and got a proposal to join one of the more prestigious radio stations in the area. Eager and undaunted as always, Sam accepted and has been there ever since. Two years later, she has the noontime to two o'clock slot and fills it full of music and other things of particular interest.
As far as the Wizarding World goes, she has the Daily Prophet delivered to her everyday and she's kept up with familial news and the such. Though she doesn't get paid in Galleons, Sickles or Knuts, she's still a witch after all. And she's worried that the tensions in the Wizarding UK, might just slip into the Muggle world.
Ronan William Weasley;;
When last the biography of Ronan Weasley was open, he was a mellow tempered teenager looking for hope in a bleakening world. Unlike some stories of the Weasleys, Ronan's is one of the bleaker ones. Upon graduating, he decided to take what money he had, that his father had given him to hopefully start a life, and write for a few years then seek other employment if that did not work out. Within months, the money was gone and his writing was not selling. Pride being his largest fault, he kept this secret from his family, most of all from his closest cousin Tori. Working out a rent agreement with the apartment leaser on the outskirts of London, Ronan kept a place to live. But in order to keep food on the table, he had to actually work for it. He took odd jobs in Diagon Alley, careful to stay away from his Father's shop. It wasn't looking all that great for the young writer.
Four years from his graduating year, he fell ill with a dreadful sickness that put him out of his current job for three months. Needless to say, they fired him on the spot, nevermind that he was sick. He took no mail nor sent any. For all anyone knew, Ronan Weasley had disappeared from the face of the earth. He never quite recovered from the sickness and has since been rather pale and thin, but he has yet to admit to anyone that he is in need of help. He just bares his jaw and continues trudging on.
Currently he is writing articles for a few magazines though it's nothing permanent nor substantial. At least his health is returning for the most part, and in this aspect, a few of his pamphlets have sold. The topics have ranged to whatever the "hot" topic is that week. Perhaps the young man will get his footing again.
Delaney Weasley;;
Over the past six years Delaney may have grown two inches but her mentality has not changed. Ever since winter break of her sixth year the young Weasley became hostile and callous. As said before that behavior remains, yet it has taken a greater toll on her. Before her seventh year, when all this was starting, Delaney immediately dropped out of Hogwarts despite the protests of her parents. In result of her actions, her parents kicked her out in hope of her changing her mind. It only led her on a down word spiral; her tendencies toward alcohol grew, as she became a drunk. Due to her always being in an inebriated state the seventeen year old never found work, and to pay for rent causing her to participate in promiscuous acts to get off her dues.
The shamed Delaney Weasley had only been shaken when her drunken slur got her in trouble with a ministry employee. Immediately when she returned home her things where trashed. Despite the fact that her trashed apartment had nothing to do with her offensive behavior earlier in the day, in her intoxicated state she overreacted and believed the ministry was out to get her. Thus doing what she did best, Delaney ran away.
She ended up in Italy. While being a safe distance away from England Delaney instantly calmed down. Once her panic faded away, her self hate returned along with all the vodka bottles. However, having no money, she couldn’t pay for anything. Not for an apartment, clothes, food, or the most cherished alcohol. She lived like that for two years until she ended passing out from dehydration and hunger. Immediately when she was found passed out on a street in broad daylight Delaney was sent to an Italian muggle hospital.
When she was faced with the hospital bills though Delaney was trapped, until a corrupt doctor approached her and offered her a way out of paying, working for him. The conditions of this job she had no idea, but she immediately accepted. Though it was nothing vulgar in a sense, the twenty year old would transport smuggled prescription drugs from the hospital to the doctor’s clients. While being an ignorant witch, she knew she was doing something illegal, but she never got the gist of it.
The next two years continued on like that, her doing dirty tasks for a muggle doctor. Until something went wrong. During one of her errands a customer demanded more of the supply and grabbed her from behind. When the situation didn’t seem to have an out for her, the term, fight of flight, took over Delaney’s mindset as she used magic for the first time in years. That night she ended up killing a muggle man. Horrified with herself, she once again began the destructive cycle she endured before. Running and drinking away her problems. The only difference is that this time she has people looking for her, and she’s hiding out in England.
Page Ophelia Weasley;;
The six years that have passed in the life of Page Weasley have seemed more like sixteen years. To those who know her, they no longer see the glowing face of a young girl without a care in the world. Still, to those on the outside looking in, it would seem as though nothing at all has gone wrong. The years have certainly been kinder to Page than to her twin sister, Delaney, though. In fact, the sisters haven't spoken a word to each other in those six years. Page did finish out her years at Hogwarts, but graduation brought on feelings of insecurity and hopelessness. In a world that seemed to be going to hell, what was a seventeen year old girl to do?
Page spent the first year after graduation still living with her parents and two younger sisters.She tried her hand at everything from being an intern in her mother's office at the ministry to working in shops in Diagon Alley. Nothing could hold her interest for long, though. She made up her mind that the only thing left to do was move to London. Besides, the muggle world seemed to hold much more promise and security than the magical world. She earned a job at the BBC, a muggle television company, working as an assistant. It wasn't long before Page had her eye on the spotlight.
In a few years she had done the impossible. She had gotten a role on a muggle television show. This new job only gave her more of a reason to stay in the muggle world. She still returned home to the burrow, though, to see her family. Ron and Hermione were none too pleased about her newest choice of career and home, though. It was understandable, given that they seemed to be losing both of their oldest girls. Delaney had already gone off without a word and now Page was making her own life in the muggle world. Still, it seemed to be a fitting life for the girl who always said she would be famous. She's not the biggest star, but she has enough of a name to keep herself occupied.
She has kept up on everything going on in the wizarding world, and she still goes home when she can. She is living in London and continuing the television role that she has had for the past three years. The more she thinks about the terror and pain going on in the wizarding world, the more she considers making the muggle world her home for good. She has managed to fall in love, with a muggle of course, a fact that her mother is quite proud of. She still uses magic and considers herself a witch even though she is living and working among people who have no idea of her magical past. Now, though, with things really getting messy back home, she is about to have to decide between going back and doing what she knows is right or fading into muggle life and leaving behind her real home. Acacia Skylar Mccarthy;;
When the Ministry started spinning out of control, so did the history of McCarthy family. Gus McCarthy was soon revealed to be known as Gus Pappas an ex-employee of the Grecian ministry that embezzled money, leaving the ministry in shambles. Unfortunately, in his years in England he was never able to drop the habit. Who could with all the females in his has wanting everything in plain view? Immediately he was arrested. Jacqueline McCarthy had no idea what to do with herself, and had no skills to get a job. So like the ancient pureblood wives she began arranging a marriage for Acacia with one of her ministry friends that had enough money to support the McCarthy ladies, and would overlook the scandal.
Yet, Acacia though proud, was affected by the stories about her family, she refused to let go of her dignity by marrying that man. She might of considered if he wasn’t the same age as her father, and was slightly decent looking. But no, someone was out to get Acacia. So there the seventeen year old girl was standing at the altar with a ministry official reading the two their vows. Acacia knew she was stuck. There was no way for her to get out of this mess, unless she wanted to live without money. And well, the second just wasn’t an option.
So for the past six years Acacia has been stuck in a loveless marriage. Her days include bossing around house elves, going out to pureblood parties, and forcing her husband to sleep in another room. Yet, as each day went on something broke inside of Acacia. She became more resentful, blaming the ministry for her misery. And the only thing she can hope for is that someone would kill her husband, so she doesn’t do it herself.
Lillian Jacqueline Corner ;;
It was her seventh and final year at Hogwarts, sure to be an experience worth waiting for; the burning anticipation that had raged throughout puberty was exciting. There wasn't anything other than the word 'graduation' on her mind. The sweet memories of the fun friendships now flashed in such a vivid fashion, it was as if she was living her fifth year and up, again. Things would be different now, a world so wide and new, her mirthful aura was almost tangible. "Try everything exotic that there is, take on the most appealing challenges." Those were the words that had inspired Lillian's determination for the desire to be a stronger being, now that she was an adult with her own life, no longer controlled by the authority of her parents or siblings. "This is my time," and so, it was.
For several years, four to be exact, Lillian was a wild, boisterous young woman, attending parties, cheering at deafening concerts, becoming famous on the Muggle program, Internet, by merely posting attractive photos of herself. She had a wonderful time, but she grew distant from her beloved family, her supportive friends, and that is where this good life that revolved around material possessions, the shallow, and what she had evolved into, into someone she thought was better, worthy -- began to run downhill. All she had built herself up to be was useless, pointless, and it was a hard, long fall from where her head was in the clouds. Now she possessed an unnatural desperation to change back, into the quirky, quiet, intelligent teenager she once knew.
After numerous, unsuccessful attempts, she never once acknowledged the last warning she had ever been told by her father; "Once you make the decision, there is no going back." The four out of six years were now fading into a blur, a waste, actually. Her fifth year after her years of Hogwarts, she received a letter from the Ministry about her father and atemporary Azkaban imprisonment. She was infuriated at the invite to Micheal's hearing, although reluctantly attended, silently listening intently; but for what? It ended unfairly, and she witnessed her father being forcefully pulled out the exit, her dear mother, Cho, sobbing against her shoulder. "The memory, even now, is startling ... but then, it felt so surreal, like a nightmare where you just can't ... you can't run from the truth, the truth that literally kills." Or so read the pity letters from several of the disagreeing jury. She wanted so badly to scream, to shout to the Ministry that they were wrong, and she made the mistake of doing so, a month after her father's jailing; her pureblood status did not make her situation much better, and now, her life is indeed different, not anything like before, but much, much worse.
"Nolan" Narie Voss
Once known in school only for her looks and her French accent. Nolan was the transfer. She planed for a few weeks but couldn't help fall in love. Not only with the school but with a boy. Still unaware of her surroundings or the world to come; she prayed for a different future than planed for her. She arrived back home when she had completed four more years of school. She had two years to herself. Or what she thought. She had found that her parents had taken the advancement for her with her relationship with Isaac. Her boyfriend from France. She had thought they broken up when she left. She thought wrong. Her parents had decided to have an arranged marriage with the two. To prevent her from marrying a English man. Nolan refused but she didn't say a word.
She stayed her best from France to repel from her parents grasps. Touring over Europe. Spending time with her friends she hadn't seen in years. She went back to Europe and fell in love once again with the atmosphere of it. She smiled when she thought about it. She convinced Isaac to stay in England for a while. While there she returned to the wizarding world. Isaac was an auror back in France but so was someone else she knew. He was on Britain's side. He was here boyfriend from school. They had broken up but they kept mailing each other. He had convince Nolan to listen to her heart to keep on trying for everything. She listened to everything he said. She never wanted to break up with him but the distance made it hard for them. Returning back to England brought back everything for both of them
Her parents always gave her what she wanted. She hated that. She loved working for what she needed. She had to chose between working for a living or just living off what they provided. She never really chose but shes kind of between both.
Remus John Dimitri Lupin Jr.;;
Six years ago Remus John Lupin was arrested and so was Dorian Roden for a crime they did not commit. Six years ago nothing was normal. Six years ago Dimitri was being internally torn apart piece by piece as his world unraveled around him and loneliness hit hard. Today, Dimitri has changed, few similarities remain apart from his physical appearance, though the scars and body marks only have extended themselves to symbolize stories and secrets. Shortly after his father's arrest riots broke out, as did groups who emerged prominent on any side of this chaos. Dimitri chose the Knights, joining at the age of eighteen, quite literally a week before his Hogwarts graduation. Nobody knew.
Estranged from most of his friends he managed to keep his childhood friend, Victoria Weasley, as a friend, though his relationship with his sisters has suffered, especially with that of Xandra Lupin who decided to take a different course in life that Dimitri didn't quite agree with himself. Confusion still haunts him in the memories and old wounds regarding that of Persephone Weasley-Rolles, though it has been four years since he has last seen her. Four years ago he got himself in a situation he deeply regretted, seeing her and participating in the sinful act of adultery. Two weeks later, Dimitri Lupin was arrested on unannounced charges and was in Azkaban for the better part of three and a half years. This sparked a reconciliation between Dimitri and his younger sister, Xandra. Now released he is adjusting to living outside again. The dark and damp halls of Azkaban do a number on a person.
Technically, Dimitri was never connected with the murder of Braden Goldstein six years ago. The guilt has settled though at the time it had killed a little piece of himself on the inside. Occasionally his is struck with the spontaneous act that occurred that night, transforming while not under the full moon and it only makes his life harder as he is now a registered Werewolf, though it is something not said nor mentioned. The complete opposite of what is poor father had to endure as he was publicly associated with being a Werewolf. It only made him physically suffer while imprisoned and even more to some extent. He tries not to keep his mother worried, though he does bear guilt in making her suffer seeing her husband and only son suffer at the hands of the corrupt ministry she is employed with, but what choice does she have?
What choice does he even have? The innocence was shattered at the age of five when he was bitten, the smiles and optimism lost when he killed that poor boy six years ago, his independence grew as he didn't know who would betray him as others did, and his heart grew cold with the acts he committed and his reluctance to let people get close. Six years was a long time for Dimitri and it certainly was a change.
Louis Lucifer Umbridge;;
Six years ago, you would've found Louis Umbridge a pompous, close-minded jerk who viewed the world with narrowed eyes and a smirk on his face. He ruled it, or would one day. A lot can and does change in six years. Now, Louis is still ambitious, but for different reasons. He has completely (or almost completely) cut off his mother, who has gone almost mentally insane from her desire to rule the Ministry and Wizarding World, perhaps that and the fact that somehow, she's realized that she can't control Louis's life anymore now that he is grown.
In Louis's seventh year, he started dating Rose Mary Martin, a fellow Ravenclaw girl in his year. That was also the year Dolores snapped. She actually came to the school demanding that they give him over to her. Of course this did not happen, due to anyone in their right mind could see that Dolores had lost it. She was screaming at the top of her lungs that the centaurs had teamed up with the Dark Lord and they were going to take her baby away from her. Needless to say, Louis had her locked up in the crazy ward after that.
When he graduated, he immediately applied for a job in the Ministry, in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Unsure of what position, he was mainly an assistant to anyone who required him. Eventually, he joined the ranks of the Magical Law Enforcement Squad as a hit wizard. This happened only a year after he joined the Ministry. Within that year, he and Rose Mary bought a town house in Guilford and moved in together. And have been ever since.
The next years flew by, and nothing too much changed with him, except the unopened letters from his mother piling up beside the trash. He has grown to be a very formidable force on the MLE Squad, and rose quickly, though not to the top. He will probably get there, just not yet. He has things he wants to accomplish before he gets there. Louis also came to a plateau of agreement with his split personality, Joker, and now they coexist in peace. No more hours or days forgotten, Joker only comes out when Louis chooses, and he actually obeys Louis's intentions for him. Together, they make a formidable adversary.
Lucien Damien Baudelaire;;
Ludo Bagman never exactly set the greatest name for his children to follow. He set a precedent that they could only exceed and Damien sure did when he had two convictions on his record before the age of twenty-two. After his second sentence in Azkaban he adjusted quite quickly and was even accepted back into his old position writing at the Daily Prophet. For the most part he simply finds information but enjoys writing the articles also. At the time Hogwarts was being infiltrated or rather being interfered with by the Ministry and just in time for he soon had much to write about. A student killed, another arrested, a teacher arrested, a werewolf arrested and husband of an auror.
A lot was going on and it only peaked the next few years as he saw Lupin senior and junior incarcerated. A headstrong Weasley assist int he retrial efforts with her Lawyer training. So much has been going on and yet nothing relatively knew with Damien himself. He wrote more articles, drank some more and continued his job. Six years has passed and nobody bothers a second glance anymore. He has done a good job of avoiding crossing any lines involving Wizarding law and has kept out of the spotlight, right where he wants to be. Recently, as of a few years ago he sided with the Knights, a rebel group he liked and was introduced via mutual friend. His allegiance is secret and his post in the Prophet valuable as far as he is concerned.
Basically he uses whatever inside information he knows at the paper and assists the Knights. He isn't all that active, playing a simple and small role, but as far as he is concerned somebody needs to step up and do something about this whole mess. Six years have passed and few has changed with Damien, his age and general demeanor, for now he waits.
Veronica Rose Parry;;
The last seen of Roni Parry, she was bubbly, happy, and had a steady boyfriend. Funny how fate can be cruel. Giving things that you want, and taking away bigger things in payment. Roni got the job of her dreams when she graduated, but something else was taken from her. Something greater than her dream job. She lost Nathaniel Drake. He left her crying and broken hearted for something better. Veronica did not handle the heartbreak very well.
Veronica works on the First Floor of St. Mungo's as a Nurse/Healer. When Nate left her, she threw herself into it. She cared for as many people as she could, and even doing overtime. Though she was far from happy, the woman put on a smiling face and laughter for the patients. This didn't change for a couple of years. Two years after graduation, she was outside in a forest area, she had traveled for a breath of fresh air. Roni encountered a rogue hippogriff, one that wizards had been hunting for months, and it unnerved her enough for her to forget all her lessons from Care of Magical Creatures. Even if she had remembered proper etiquette, it probably wouldn't have made a difference. The hippogriff attacked her, leaving some deep wounds on her stomach, legs and arms. A wild kneazle saw her and actually alerted the hunters that were hunting that very hippogriff. The wounds were too deep for the wizard hunters to heal with just "Episkey", and Veronica was rushed to the very ward that she worked in.
She recovered well from the attack, physically, but mentally she hasn't. Roni is absolutely terrified of leaving the urban London, even though the chances of her meeting another rogue animal is slim to none. She actually moved out of her apartment in Guilford to move into London just for that reason. However, a plus came, is that the Kneazle that aided her hasn't left her side. It is golden in coloring, and accompanies her everywhere. The kneazle, named Pandora, has been instated as a protector of sorts for the ward in which Roni works.
All in all, the last six years have been depressing and stressful for the budding woman, and the tension in the government hasn't helped the situation at all. She can only sit and hope for peace.
Dorian Balthazar Roden;;
After being wrongfully accused for the killing of Braden Goldstein, Dorian Roden was thrown into Azkaban prison quite unceremoniously. He was given a trial, but as the Ministry was so focused on pinning someone for the death of the eldest Goldstein, it was highly unfair, and Dorian was charged for the brutal murder or Braden Aaron Goldstein.
He was sentenced to over fifty years in Azkaban, and has hence been serving his time for the last six. He's up for parole in three months, but it's highly unlikely he'll be sent free. His status as a Vampire became horrifyingly noted, therefore it's very doubtful that anyone would want to set him free.
His time in incarceration didn't give him much else to do besides dwell on his wrongful accusation. What fools the ministry had been! He understood what they were going through, that a boy was dead and that the parents would want some sort of restitution, but his imprisonment had been a waste. Perhaps it hadn't been seen as such to everyone, though, as the gory details of Goldstein's death had not been issued to the public. It hadn't been stated that the boy had been mauled, had had his throat ripped out and that his whole body had been massacred. If they had written that, a vampire couldn't possibly have been convicted, at least not on that crime, however, the world is prejudiced against those viewed as different
Tobias Jude Wood;;
Tobias Wood The lucky bastard. he got off scott-free for the attack on Victoria Weasley, and has been living a care-free life ever since that day.
Unlike a good deal of his peers, he never married in the time after Hogwarts, instead falling into an organization that had been crafted to wreak havoc upon the unprotected civilized world; The Walpurgis Knights. Torturing muggles became his new favorite game, though he has yet to kill. Though, the Walpurgis Knights, his choice organization, has no real leader, Tobias is a member held with high respect.
His status as a knight is unknown to most of the world, however, and when in the public eye he commands a cordial heir about him. His talent on the Quidditch Pitch had been evident since his earlier years, so his placement on Britain's International Quidditch Team, The Wasps, had been expected. The half blood still leads a fairly extravagant life with no repercussions henceforth, though his falling out with Aiden Malfoy might prove to be hindrance in the time to come. Fayette Natalie Finnigan;;
A lot has changed for Miss Finnigan during the last few years of her life. After graduating from Hogwarts with her peers, she took her show on the road and started doing everything and everything that she possibly could, travel being the key to all of that. She explored every region of the known world, delving into every crevice, just to know what was there. Along her adventures, she made quite the outreach of clientèle, making contacts with lowly peddlers to the highest of society.
The now twenty-three year old has now finished globe trotting for the moment, settling down in Ireland upon one of the estates owned by her Father. The spoiled little brat has acquired nothing career wise since her graduation. She has never held a job, nor has she seen a reason to hold a job. It's all too mundane for her, and she just doesn't like it. In addition, she has yet to have a long term relationship, preferring to use sex as her eternal weapon.
Isaac Lysander Boleyn;;
Six years passed quite quickly for Isaac but its not to say it wasn't the least bit eventful. During the few months before his graduation he witnessed a few things that one would never expect from Hogwarts. Students arrested or dead, teachers in prison. Aurors roaming the halls watching your every move. During that time he also felt like he was being watched and later it would be revealed that he was being watched for a specific reason. Graduation rolled around and things were far from normal. Whispering was common and within the words you heard pretty much the same topic, complaints about the Ministry or this group that called themselves the "knights".
His mother died shortly that summer and without that protection he was brought into the Ministry for questions on who his father was. Isaac honestly did not know but it was soon revealed that he was the bastard son of Rodolphus Lestrange. Speechless and wondering if the effects of Verateserum still were in effect he didn't say anything. That was the last thing he expected especially when his closest friend was a Longbottom. After that he took to a solitary life. For the most part the shock had not worn off and he had nobody to ask questions to. He was an orphan and it made him feel lonely and cold inside. He took up a job in Hogsmeade at the Post Office as something to do and didn't chose to take a side in this whole mess, seeing the positives and negatives of both sides.
He remained friends with those he had befriended before school though with the open fact of his true heritage it has strained some relationships, even if it was his own doing and he just doesn't know it. The talk of retrials sparked his attention, it did for a lot of people and he simply wanted to know what the outcome would be or if it would bring about more riots as Ministry acts had done six years ago.
Tycho Orion Artarus;;
Orion had his fifteen minutes of fame six years ago when he infamously caught and arrested Aiden Malfoy in the Forbidden Forest on the grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy and then later arresting Dorian Roden and Remus Lupin. That was short lived except for the offers of promotions he didn't accept or pay raises, he was fine simply where he was. Slowly and slowly he was drawn into this hole the Ministry was digging, arresting and convicting, trials shorter and shorter relying on less and less evidence. Fair trials still occurred, but for some it was an impossibility. He spoke on the trials for Dorian Rode and Aiden Malfoy, sending them away for a number of years.
Two years later his name would resurface in the papers for the capture and arrest of Dimitri Lupin, son of Remus Lupin an inmate in Azkaban Prison. The details were kept under extreme wraps as revealing what he was arrested for would put cause to set another man free and make the Ministry and himself look like bafoons. Looking back he sometimes feels a twinge of regret for it is too late for anything to be done, the damage is there and irreversible. Making the deal with Dimitri Lupin to be set free in exchange for the improvement of the Ministry was a positive thing, though Lupin was unhappy but willing, normally one doesn't notice the change a prison does on a person, though the young age definitely is a factor especially as he looks at Malfoy.
His only current fear that brings anxiety to his chest is the retrials. Orion never liked the Weasleys and he has found another reason no to. For a man of his status it is difficult to ignore the subpoenas as he dreads speaking on these trials.
Miley Weasley
Who would have thought that trouble finding Miley Weasley would want to become an Auror? Her parents didn't even thought that she would grow up to become a beautiful young woman working as a Auror. Well now she had proved them wrong. After leaving Hogwarts and saying good-bye to some of her friends she knew that she may not see much of them anymore but knew she will always see her cousins and siblings. She also knew she would miss the school a whole lot but figured she could visit the school from time to tome. Especially just to make sure the school is in good hands and the students are being treated well.
In her seventh year she was surprised to pass the final exam with an 'O' in Potions and some of the other hard subjects. She wasn't one to study really but she had decided in her sixth year to hit the books and study as hard as she could. And now being twenty two years old she had become an Auror and began to make sure the wizarding and Muggle world are both safe from harm. She has had her share of run ins with the bad people and brought them to Azkaban. She would visit the prison and visit some of the inmates just to see if they were being treated right as well.
During that time she joined the Ministry Loyalties to make sure that the muggleborns get a chance to go to Hogwarts just like any other pure blood would. She also fought for the rights of the Half bloods to get things that the Pure Bloods did. She knew what it was like to be a Half-blood considering she was one and she thought that was a great cause to fight for. She would love to see Hogwarts still standing when she turns fifty if she lives that long. Being an Auror you never know the day one will die! Bianca Autumn Longbottom;;
True innocence lives on forever, as the little angel of the Longbottom line has discovered. Tough issues have followed her throughout her relatively short life, being subjected to questionable scenarios with various males and whatnot. Somehow, however, the young beauty always managed to escape with her purity, and has remained so for the past six years in addition to the previous sixteen.
After the tragic death of Braden Goldstein, a bit of Bianca's chipper disposition faded into the background. Being confronted with death just had taken such a toll on the girl, that she had been forced to swallow a dose of reality, letting some of her creative flair die just a little...a little of herself leaving the world with Braden.
Though she did advance in maturity, she still skated around her feelings for certain men, Isaac Boleyn in particular. No matter how hard she told herself that she had feelings for him, and that nothing would ever happen unless she initiated it...she just couldn't bring herself to say those little words. She was too afraid to admit that she liked him, and after they both had left Hogwarts behind, she forced herself to think of other things, though Isaac was always lingering in her thoughts. Her career became her main focus, channeling all of her energy into her work, and The Ministry of Magic was the perfect place for a young woman to work. As her Grandparents had been well respected Aurors before their forced retirement due to incapacitation, a spot at the Ministry was easy enough to secure, although Law Enforcement was not her ideal career choice. Bianca had always loved things clouded with mystery, making a position within The Department of Mysteries ideal. She became an unspeakable at the age of nineteen, after one year of interning in the department.
The twenty-three year old hasn't had much time for anything else besides her work, and when free time happens upon her, she can usually be found in her small London flat, gardening or painting. Ethan Christopher Rolles;;
Seventh year. Not only were the dramas of his various friends falling down around him, no that he could deal with; but suddenly the girl he'd been going around with was pregnant. Before he knew it a marriage had fallen on his head in the middle of his last year of school, his life altering at a mind numbing speed. Isabella Evangaline Rolles was born on May fourteenth, mothers day at five oh four pm into his life. The little bundle of pink was rushed into his arms at five oh six, the mop of dark curly hair and blue eyes capturing his heart within the first few moments.
For the next few years he worked constantly, two to three jobs at a time to help support the family he'd created, although he very rarely ever saw the two. Tumbling into the house at the most ungodly hours of morning he's pause in Isabella's nursery before collapsing into bed beside his wife for the few hours of sleep before his next job. He'd breakfast with the family, usually come home for lunch, and only miss dinner three times a week. But even that time seemed to be too short, too stretched. And then not two years after they were joined yet another pregnancy occurred. Twins to top it all off. And while he didn't exactly doubt the kids were his, the timing was off. He hadn't been home enough around that time in his mind. And yet it only took one time to get someone pregnant. None of it mattered. The kids were Persephone's for sure, and truthfully thats all that mattered. Two little girls and a little boy. Around the time the two were born he finally landed a steady job. He was a professor at his old school, now a Transfiguration teacher. Surrounded by his three children and wife he came to a slow realization. He was in love with his wife. Most would consider this strange four years after the marriage. But it works.
With no wish to tell her quite yet he kept it to himself. Now six years later he still teaches at Hogwarts, still has yet to tell his wife anything. And is itching for a second son. Gabriel Aurellius Lucan;;
Many look upon Professor Lucan and think many of the same things: introvert, lonely, boring, unsound – and in all truth, he was those thing – hell, he thought himself those things. The stocky, Charms teacher easily went unnoticed under Ministry radar – or so the world thought. Behind the curtain of a burly, mysterious man was something deeper; treachery. How many students entrusted themselves to him and his capabilities? Too many, and he did not deserve it. He should be their mentor, guardian of sorts – and he was – on the surface. But since his Azkaban release up until now he has been the Ministry’s lacky – right under the nose of everyone save the Ministry and the newly retired Headmistress McGonagall. His job (sent to him through H. Ermes at Ministry Headquarters) was to keep tabs of a select group of students, and to be wary of the actions of all of them during and after class. The trust students found in this eccentric, quiet, heavily off-beat man was merely a trap for their own demise.
How else would he have gotten a coveted spot at Hogwarts? Having no teacher training, never attending the school, and only the education of his mother to pass down to his students – one would be utterly foolish if it was purely McGonagall who decided it was a good idea. In fact, her protests went unnoticed by the Ministry. Working literally as the Ministry dog, it was his notes and doodlings that found their way into students permanent files. Never anything clean cut or crisp, merely random pieces of paper with jottings of what he saw put down and then scrambled by a spell so only particular, important people could read it. Maybe if he didn’t write down that Aiden Malfoy “flippantly disregards curfew, uses prefect duty as excuse” or that Dimitri Lupin “has peculiar scars for so young a man, permanent, untended to scars” things would be different for the lads who both faced jailtime at about the same time Gabriel did in his youth. And from his sleuthing he found out more than just Slytherin bad behavior, he knew who was meeting up (hence why Ethan and Persephone’s wedding came to no surprise to him), who were quarreling, and who didn’t want to get caught. This underhanded hobby, however, has not effected his natural gift of teaching and lecture (the latter a bit of a stretch, as he isn't the clearest of speakers).
But after doing such shady deeds for so long, watching as students got their just desserts in the matter of school law, it made him wonder: why? In his youth, he had a passionate disregard for rules and had the tattoos and scars to prove it. He’s supposed to be their Professor, not their condemner. Does that mean that he should just let these kids go free? Currently, he’s stuck on what to do. Punishment obviously doesn’t work and it’s harmful for these kids to survive in the real world if they’ve got a huge record riding on their backs. Should he be more forgiving like some teachers, or continue to use his pupils’ trust for his own safety? Because what will happen if he decides he doesn’t want to work with the Ministry anymore; fired, unveiled, sent back to prison? And hence, this is why the introvert, lonely, boring, unsound man continues to keep his head down.

Sirius James Potter;;
The past six years have been rather eventful for the young mister Potter. At the end of 6th year his then girlfriend Nolan Voss returned to France, and the relationship ended. Sirius wrote frequently throughout his seventh year trying for at least once a week, but after graduating Hogwarts Sirius' letters became fewer and farther between. Still, even with his former flame popping in and out of his mind Sirius had a few short term girlfriends his seventh year, finding it comforting to be relieved of his single status, even if just for a few weeks. He kept up his studies and did quite well on his NEWTs (though he maintains he could have done better.)
After graduation Sirius had contemplated becoming an Auror, it was a path he'd always expected to take, and he had the grades for it, but in anticipation of taking the exam Sirius got a bit nervous. Things seemed to planned, he felt as though he could see his whole life laid out in front of him, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling. So, rather than carry through on the path of an Auror Sirius left London, and England all together ending up in Florence, Italy. There Sirius found himself able to relax, to breathe, and for once just think about what it was he wanted from his life rather than allowing his decisions to be swayed by what he felt was expected from him as the son of 'the boy who lived.'
Sirius decided his life had been rather lacking the adventure that had characterized the lives of his father and grandfather as well as his namesake. He was being to cautious. At first it had been because he feared the agony his mother would have to face outliving not only her beloved husband but her loving son as well, but he was an adult now, and if he was destined to die young as the men in his family seemed to shouldn't he try to at least enjoy his life and take some risks, rather than live in constant fear of death that would undoubtedly come anyway? The answer was a resounding yes.
Sirius would spend almost all of the next year and a half in Florence (he went home for a few weeks at Christmas and a few other times at his mothers request.) While in Florence Sirius became immersed in the culture and found himself enthralled by the history of the town. History had always been one of Sirius strong points in school. He loved learning about the past, learning from it, using it to predict future events and to compare past and present. What had fascinated Sirius more than simple history however was the ancient artifacts that often popped up in the more interesting tales of history before being lost in the sands of time. Sirius began to study some of these artifacts including the Deathly Hallows, all three of which his father had possessed at one point, (one which he himself now owned.) He also found himself studying the Horcruxes his father, uncle and aunt had tracked down in order to destroy the Dark Lord Voldemort.
It was from these initial studies that Sirius' career choice was born. After moving back to London, to live on his own, in 12 Grimmauld Place, a residence in the heart of muggle London which his father had inherited from the man Sirius had been named for. Sirius however never stayed in one place for long. At the ripe young age of 20 Sirius found himself employed by the Ministry of Magic's department of Magical Artifacts as a field agent in charge of recovering ancient magical artifacts...in simpler terms he was an archaeologist. Sirius has spent the last three years on digs all over the world. Of course 'digs' is a term he uses loosely as he has quite often found himself in various sorts of caves, the Egyptian pyramids and a variety of other areas were there was little to know digging required.
Sirius has become somewhat hardened by his experiences, some of of them forcing him to stare death in the face. He has retained his good humor and love of sarcasm, but he is a far cry from the naive, teenager he once was.
Amberly May Malfoy;;
Our story begins just six years ago...
Amberly watched as her brother-slash-best friend was taken away to Azkaban. She cried into Salen's shoulder and didn't know what to do. Lena and Aiden were her family. Now, one was gone, taken from her. She didn;t know how to cope. It was then that Amberly Malfoy decided it was time-time to be a Malfoy. Pureblood mania, magic is might, blah blah blah. The bitch in Amberly grew and she became the Slytherin she should've been. Amber stuck to dating Slytherins-of you wanted to call it dating. She pushed away her friend Sirius Potter, no matter how good and nice he had been to her over the years. Amber spent less time with Delaney wand much more time with Salena and Gwen. Lena stayed with the purebloods... her choice.
Fidelity was never a good concept for Amberly. Eber boy she dated had been swiftly pushed away by another. She became the socialite every one knew she was, while working secretly as a knight. Money was never an issue, so she didn't have to work. Through the years, Amber never stopped loving Tobias Wood. Seeing him famous was even harder. Only Gwen knows it, but she's been thinking about it nonstop. It's breaking her heart not to be with him....
and she tried so hard to be heartless.
Ryan George Weasley;;
the played. the ladies man. The owner of a club.
The guy who always had a date, but nowhere to go finally put his brain to work. He lived in London for a year before he found the right spot. With the help of a few friends, Ryan opened Addiction. In a few months, it got huge. Bands were lining up to play. It used to be a fovor to Ryan if you played at the club. Nicki Lupin would do a few things here and there, his cousin Sam would DJ for him- then it got big. Everyone he knew was going weekly. People he hated came. He waved as girls from his past came. There was one who never came... October Harding never showed up. Everyone else came... but there was no sign of October.
When his brother fell ill, he didn't know what to do. They hadn't spoken since Nicki dragged him to the opening night. He should've done something... but he didn't. He had a club to attend to. His contact with most of the damily grew less and less until he scarcely spoke to anyone with the last name of Weasley. Not even his brothers. The only person that Ryan still talks to from his past is Nicki Lupin and she works with his brother Jasper. The only one he wants to talk to is October... but she seemed to have dissappeared. He needs someone in his life.
Someone and somewhere to belong.
Lysandra Rue Beaumont;;
Nothing much has changed in the six years Lysandra has been teaching at Hogwarts. She's not as shy and uncomfortable around her colleagues, and she's become a better professor with each passing year, but other than that, her life has been fairly uneventful. Sure, she has to deal with the disgruntled students who would rather be anywhere else in the world than in her Muggle Studies class, but that's really nothing new. Even the witches and wizards in America had their prejudices, though they don't feel quite so strongly about blood purity as their British counterparts.
Trouble has been stirring ever since one of Hogwarts students was arrested and sentenced to Azkaban, and though Lysandra ignored the garish headlines splashed across the front page of the Daily Prophet, she wasn't completely ignorant to events of the outside world. Safe within the walls of the castle, however, she chose to ignore them, not allowing rumors to effect how and what she taught her students.
